  • Well said Alex! I think if girls can grow up with good support (less focus on materialistic junk) and are taught to have self-confidence, good self esteem and if they understand who they are in this world and their purpose, then things will fall into place. Girls (women) will have the desire to take care of their bodies, be healthy but not be obsessed with looking good only to impress others. Instead they will be satisfied with exercising and eating healthy for the sole purpose of respecting their bodies and taking care of the body they were given.

  • BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for sharing Celeste. I totally agree! This is why I think that being a mother is one of the most transformational roles to take on in this lifetime. And, the media influence is really strong on what we should look like, and what we should wear and who we need to be in order to be so called beautiful. But, like you said having a good support system to help us, guide and inspire us to respect our bodies with proper movement and nutrition is crucial so that we are not influence by the media and we have a strong foundation of who we are!! And, I think this is a lifetime process - to keep nurturing that self esteem and confidence as we move into new exciting adventures! :)
